Our house sale seems to be trundling right along. We haven’t had any news in a while, which supposedly good. At this point if it falls through, it’ll either be a lender issue, or the buyers will forfeit their earnest money. So we’re assuming everything is happening, and that our house will be sold and handed over on June 30.
On Friday, a house in Blue Ridge came on the market. We took a look at it that evening, and decided to make an offer. It had the things we wanted, plus a view! And it was a good deal for the neighborhood and house. The offer is getting sent to the seller today– apparently the owner is in his hundreds, and isn’t competent, so a guardianship is taking care of the sale. They only work weekdays, so today is the first time we could get an offer to them. There’s at least one other offer we’re competing against, so right now we’re waiting (impatiently!) to hear back as to whether we get the house or not. Trying not to count our chickens too much!

That yard looks like it would keep you busy. Hope everything works out in your favor!
Also: Looks like there’s a nice wood paneling removal project in your future, should you get that house.

Uh oh. Busted. Adrienne’s so annoyed she posted twice!
But I’d blame Rowan. It’s always best to blame Rowan.
