We’re all moved out of our house. We hired movers; they came yesterday and took away almost all of our stuff. Cleaning supplies and a few random bits were left; we stuffed them all in our cars today and cleaned the place up. Closing should be this afternoon.
We’re staying at Todd & Ara’s house during our 2 days of homelessness. We moved the cats over last night (and spent the night there too, since they have furniture). Spodi stays under the bed (he came out briefly while we were sleeping to peer out the windows, but didn’t use the litterbox or eat anything). Archie explores a bit, hisses at Sophie, and is generally pretty happy. He has both eaten and used the litterbox. I’m hoping Spodi will come out from under the bed to use these things sometime today, though I’m not holding my breath.
Thursday we move stuff in to the new house. We’ll see whether we move the cats in that night or wait until Friday morning… it will probably depend on how hectic things are at the new house, and whether Spodi has come out from under the bed yet.
